Privacy policy

Last updated 19 September 2026. The short version: the test runs in your browser and your answers never leave it.

The test

The IQ test on this site is scored entirely in your browser. Your answers are held in the page's memory while you are taking it and are discarded when you close or reload the page.

No answer is transmitted to a server. No result is stored. There is no account, no email field and no database of results, which means there is nothing for us to lose, sell or hand over.

What we collect

Standard web server logs, which record the request — IP address, timestamp, page requested, user agent, referrer — as every web server does. These are used to keep the site running and to detect abuse, and are retained for a limited period.

We do not operate advertising trackers, we do not run cross-site profiling, and we do not sell data to anyone.

Cookies and storage

The site does not set cookies for tracking. Where any analytics is used, it is configured to avoid storing personal identifiers. The cookie policy covers this in more detail.

One external request is made: the web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. If you would rather not make that request, a content blocker will prevent it and the site will fall back to system fonts and remain fully usable.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, the UK GDPR and comparable laws you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection in respect of personal data held about you.

In practice we hold almost nothing: no account, no test results, no email address unless you have written to us. If you have written to us and want that correspondence deleted, ask and it will be.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. The test itself is written for adults and older teenagers.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
