Purpose and status

IQTest EN provides educational content about cognitive testing and a short reasoning test for self-assessment.

Nothing on this site is a psychological assessment, a diagnosis, a clinical opinion or an official IQ result. The test is not supervised, is not normed on a representative sample and is not accepted by any institution, employer or high-IQ society. It cannot be used for academic placement, employment decisions, disability determination, immigration, legal proceedings or any other formal purpose.

If you need a result that carries weight, an individually administered test from a licensed psychologist is the only route. Which test applies to which situation.

Acceptable use

You may read, use and share the content for personal and educational purposes. You may not scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for others, republish substantial portions without attribution, or present our test as your own.

Intellectual property

The text, reasoning items, explanations, figures, code and design on this site are ours unless stated otherwise. Test names referenced on the site — WAIS, WISC, Stanford–Binet, Wonderlic, CogAT, Raven's Progressive Matrices, Mensa and others — are the property of their respective owners and are referred to descriptively. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or licensed by any of them.

Short quotations with attribution and a link are welcome.

Accuracy

We take accuracy seriously and we are not infallible. Reference figures are generated from the distribution or traced to a named source, research findings are stated at the confidence the literature supports, and facts about third-party tests reflect what those sites published at the time of writing. Prices, formats and features change without notice.

If something is wrong, tell us and it will be corrected.

Limitation of liability

The site is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of this site or reliance on its content, including any decision made on the basis of a test result.

We link to external sites where they are useful. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices. Our position on the sites discussed in the reviews section is stated on those pages and in the editorial policy.
